Kinder Plant

Arena Industrial (“Arena”) is comprised of two aggregate mining and processing facilities in Kinder, LA (the “Kinder Plant”) and Greenwell Springs, LA (the “Baywood Plant”).

The Kinder Plant has been operating since 1965 and was founded to mine, process, and supply high-quality silica sand to an international chemical manufacturer located in the region. In 2008, a second mining facility was added to the Kinder Plant to increase mining capacity. Today, the Kinder Plant’s two mining facilities sit on 1,000 acres of 80 million tons of proven and recoverable sand reserves. It boasts an annual nameplate production capacity of 1.5 million tons of mined, washed, classified, and dried white river silica sand. Throughout its 55-year existence, the Kinder Plant added many trusted product lines including various grades of silica sands, masonry, and concrete sands, and frac sand proppants to meet customer needs.
